When I saw this invitation to this seminar by Smartmatic at the South Florida Tech organization on September 30th., many things went through my head, but speechless may be the best way to describe me, particularly the part about the “recent success in Venezuela”. Antonio Mugica, CEO, Smartmatic Corp., will examine the many challenges faced by developers seeking to improve electoral processes with digital technology and provide a close-up look at Smartmatic’s Automated Electoral Solution (SAES). He will discuss Smartmatic’s business strategies and recent success in Venezuela. Mr. Mugica holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Simon Bolivar University. He created Smartmatic’s vision and holds over nine pending patents under his name in the U.S.
