Taking charge of The Devil’s Excrement as a Ghost Blogger is extremely difficult in any circumstance. Doing so during the so-called “reparo” process is, simply, daunting. I doubt anyone envies me. I won’t say much about me as I think it will give me more freedom to write anonymously in the tradition of The Federalist Papers, albeit with much less talent. I live in Venezuela in a middle-class neighborhood and I have followed the Venezuelan pseudo-revolutionary process since its inception. First with some hope, later with increasing desperation and exasperation.
I will not try to copy the Devil’s style, I couldn’t do that. I hope the readers are faithful enough to await his return, despite the diminished quality of this month writing. I will try to tell you what I know and what I fail to understand (there is a lot of the latter!). I ask the readers for help: correcting mistakes, passing on information through the comments, and, perhaps, with the humongous task of correcting my deficient english grammar.
I will sign my posts with the signature below, in order to distinguish them from whatever The Devil’s manages to send from his heavenly well-deserved vacation.
