And nothing like the anniversary of Venezuela’s Communist Party (PCV) for a little revolutionary capitalism. At the celebration in Maracay a scant 133 Kms. from Caracas, there was a stand selling Farc coffee (No signs of a trade mark) as you can see in the picture below:
The communist party has been a staunch supporter of the robolution, its only saving grace being that it has refused to be absorbed onto Chavez’ PSUV party.
Just think, you are not only contributing to the “cause” of terrorism, kidnaps, bombs and the like, but you are buying the best organic coffee from the FARC’s own farms in Santa Marta or stolen at random from Colombia’s best farms, bypassing Chavez’ boycott of Colombian products and without paying value added tax. What a deal!
And all of this happens under the watchful eyes of a revolution that is everywhere in Venezuela and is always ready to stop anything it does not like, from violent pictures to sensationalist music videos and who (wink, wink) does not support the FARC, as Chavez has told us repeatedly. Yeah! Sure!
What’s next? Al Qaeda fireworks for Chirstmas?

Let’s just hope that upcoming elections will allow Venezuelans to creat a change. I am just tired of the problems in Venezuela and the oposition not preparing accordlingly to the occasion. Hopefully, Chavistas will see thta the country is not beeter off today than it was 11 years ago. As a matter of fact, we are in a worse situation.

I sent the post to El Nacional, let’s see if they pick it up.
August 22, 2010 at 2:13 pm
Khyber- we can only wish this should happen and it should. A photo o El Nacional of Chavez holding a photo of dead bodies on TV (with bodies censored) would highlight the hypocrisy and really piss him off.
Of course the ban is lifted so why not show the whole photo?
August 22, 2010 at 1:58 pm
El Nacional should make an artical show those bodies, and have Censored where the picture of their picture of dead bodies, and ask the question why Chavez on TV can show these images, but they can’t show similar images. The hypocracy of the regime should not be allowed to go without notice by the people.

OK, now can you stop saying the FARC & Chavez aren’t in cahoots to commit terror?
It is obvious the relation is simply business competition!
That whole spat with the cutoff of relations and all, that was just manoeuvrings over the distribution rights of FARCAFE.
I guess Rafael Isea won the rights for that region.

con b,
You think the escasez are going to be THAT bad if Chavez ‘wins’ again then?
August 21, 2010 at 9:38 pm
As usual, a deep thoughtful comment from another PSF, a new one at that!
Love the language, the arguments, the depth of thought, the arguments in defense of the robolution.
August 21, 2010 at 9:35 pm
Well, here there won’t be the problem of donating to a charity to find (or maybe not) that it is a front for terrorists. These are at least sincere.
I get it!!! The PSUV (and by extention the PCV) guys are always after some or other NGO and labeling them terrorists or something like that. They are trying to show us that the distance from supporting a NGO to fully fledged terrorism is shorter than we think.

this website is a fucking toilet…
Chavez is going to romp to another victory in September, and you will be eating shit
August 21, 2010 at 2:48 pm
you reminded me of the explosive-du-jour for the bolivarianos during the plaza altamira uprising: the “Bin Laden”.
August 21, 2010 at 2:09 pm
Roger,
It sounds like the FARC are pulling off the REAL 21 Century Socialism, like the new wave of capitalism out of China. Maybe, Chavez could learn something.
August 21, 2010 at 1:37 pm
Next there will be commercials on VTV and such……” Every morning Juanita Valdez loads her AK-47, puts a pack saddle on her donkey and heads heads to the cafe fincas to steal the best Colombian coffee beans from poor farmers can’t do much about it having fell victim to her Land Mines! ……. Even if your not into our coca, you will love our coffee available soon at a pandaria near you. And soon to be added to our BLOOD PRODUCT LINE …… Blood Orchids, stolen from Colombian flower growers who supply the capitalist gringos. Also, don’t forget our Opals great for converting Bolivars into real money!”

Like the Wizard of Oz, when you pull the curtain away…. the reality makes one feel deceived.

Miguel,
How are you? I have not been here for a while. You are going to lots of weddings, so, you must be fine ๐
Can you or anyone here give me information about what happens in Venezuela in accounting, please?
In Venezuela, a country in hyperinflation, do companies inflation-ajust trade debtors (trade receivables) and trade creditors (trade payables)?
If you buy something and you pay it later than 30 days, does the value get inflation-adjusted for the loss in real value of the Bolivar? Or does that not matter. The later you pay, the less you pay in real value?
What is happening in Venezuela in the real economy?
I would appreciate it very much if you or someone can answer this question.
Thank you in advance.
Kindest regards,
Nicolaas Smith
