Meanwhile, General Miguel Ramirez of the National Guard warned that
anyone that attempts to count the votes after the polls close will be
arrested. ¨We are not going to allow anyone to go against the good
flow of the voting process. The CNE has said that it is forbidden to
open the ballot boxes (that were not chosen to be opened) and to do so
is a crime. In that case, we will proceed according to what the laws
and the Cosntitution says. Well, only in a totalitarian state can you
be arrested for doing what the law says HAS to be done. I wonder what
is the penalty for following the laws and the Constitution?
