The best to everyone in 2010 and that all your New Year Wishes become reality
Thanks for reading!
Observations focused on the problems of an underdeveloped country, Venezuela, with some serendipity about the world (orchids, techs, science, investments, politics) at large. A famous Venezuelan, Juan Pablo Perez Alfonzo, referred to oil as the devil's excrement. For countries, easy wealth appears indeed to be the sure path to failure. Venezuela might be a clear example of that.

I will begin the new year creating a list of campaign promises the oppo can use in coming years
We will stop sending oil and money toCuba until poverty is wiped out
We will cancel Alo Presidente and return your previous TV programming
We will spend on education rather than military arms
We will not tell you every month we have uncovered an assisination plot
We will invest in new power supplies
We will not send suitcases of money to political parties abroad
We will return to you an independent judiciary
We will release political prisoners that have not been convicted of crimes
We will eliminate worthless propaganda billboards that serve as eyesores
We will allow you to spend your funds abroad as you see fit
We will not blame everyone else for problems that exists here at home
My New years resolution is to continue building this list and forward it to oppo leaders for consideration as elections approach. Many thanks Miguel for your efforts this past year(even when you fail to follow through on contests).
