Hugo seems to be realizing so many things are screwed up here he complains about all of the TV talk shows in VTV and that nobody watches TVES which replaced RCTV (including stealing its equipment)

Observations focused on the problems of an underdeveloped country, Venezuela, with some serendipity about the world (orchids, techs, science, investments, politics) at large. A famous Venezuelan, Juan Pablo Perez Alfonzo, referred to oil as the devil's excrement. For countries, easy wealth appears indeed to be the sure path to failure. Venezuela might be a clear example of that.

Jsb is right, but it is not just this government. Venezuelan TV has always been very bad, with very few exemptions.

The reason for so much talk is that drama or documentaries require creativity, planning, the production skills that are lacking among the bullies that run these government stations.

Vanessa Davies in the right rear of picture, used to share Hugo’s bed (old Disip gossip). Incomprehensible power trip Chavez is on but such is the Venezuelan psyche where nothing will change for the overall better.
